degree in mechanical Engineering; 2+
years industry experience in mechanical design and manufacturing.
Skills
3D
solid modeling and 2D CAD
Good
working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Practical
knowledge of machining processes including hands on experience.
Project
management

Industrial
Controls
Knowledge
of Visual Basic and or other programming language
Duties
Design
of parts / assemblies for laboratory automation products
Assembly
and analysis of prototype automated systems
Troubleshooting
designs and assembled products
Updating
and improving part designs.
Support
of field service personnel
Placing
shop orders and receiving fished parts for assembly
and testing.
Responsibilities
Ensure
that design of automated equipment meet specifications established
by product development team.
Management
of assigned engineering projects.
Management
of support personnel to ensure timely completion of projects.
Ensure
that all designs are properly documented and stored per company
standards.
Maintenance
of adequate stocks of parts and materials for projects.
